From sponsoring programs in our own backyards to supporting international relief efforts, DAVIS has always been and remains committed to helping those around us.
We work hard to make a significant positive impact on our surrounding communities through these organizations.
ALS Challenge
When the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS went viral DAVIS was one of the first companies to jump in and pour water over our heads. We challenged some of our biggest competitors in New England to take the challenge and donate to support Pete Frates. Local TV and news covered the challenge and we were pleased to get drenched for this great cause!
Backpack Giveback
2017 will mark the 11th year of this remarkable program. The Backpack Giveback allows the DAVIS staff to connect with local families by providing kids, in grades K-5, with backpacks filled with much needed school supplies. The DAVIS Companies purchase the backpacks and the employees buy the supplies, sort, fill and distribute the packs. This year all of our office locations supported this program and donated a total of 400+ backpacks!
Habitat for Humanity
Laying flooring, painting, hammering nails, landscaping and more. Whatever is needed Team DAVIS steps up to help. Supporting projects in Georgia and Massachusetts, our employees are happy to spend a day working to make another families dream of home ownership come true.
Hope for the Holidays
Each of our offices partners with a local program to find families who needs some extra help and support at the holidays. From providing local children with holiday gifts to supporting whole families and those who faced catastrophic loss, the DAVIS elves dive into shopping and wrapping with the enthusiasm of the season to provide for those who need some help. The spirit of giving rings true.
Superhero Scramble
Combining the love of a physical challenge and the desire to support our troops over seas, DAVIS team members raised over $5000 to buy supplies and goodies to send to an Army unit in Afghanistan. They raised funds by getting pledges to participate in a mud run that covered over 20 different obstacles-starting with the famous crawl thru mud under barbed wire!
Thanksgiving on Davis
Asking our employees that work at client sites “what are you thankful for” has led to our new favorite tradition-providing Thanksgiving dinners for employees from each of our office locations. With all the fixins including a big ole turkey-our team goes and delivers the whole meal to our employees. The excitement they share when they find out they are getting the whole meal, makes us feel thankful that we can do it and that they appreciate it.
