Searching for an Inside Sales / Proposal Specialist located in Marlboro, MA. This is a temp to hire position. This position requires a background and drug test.

Our client  is a global leader in providing explosion protection systems for combustible dust and vapor applications.  These systems mitigate the risks associated with the handling of gas, liquids and solids to protect people, operations and facilities in a variety of industries.  Attention to profitability, the competitive environment and customer communications are all valuable aspects required to ensure the company’s overall growth. A future goal is the improved quote turn-around time to our customers, which can be achieved by means of the continued standardization and the development of proposal tools, content and styles, as well as technical comprehension of the company’s product and system offerings.

Inside Sales / Proposal Specialist Responsibilities and Qualifications:
  • Over the next three years, the person must prepare for supporting increased sales growth and volume through process efficiency, standardization of template content and style, as well as continued development of new tools for the internal and external sales teams. The Inside Sales / Proposal Specialist will support our Regional Sales Managers and the organization's growth through improving sales and customer satisfaction. 
  • Furthermore, the person will act as an interface between all departments throughout the organization, reduce quotation turn-around time to meet customer needs and ensure profitability by making sure all quotation pricing remains within acceptable limits.
  • The Inside Sales / Proposal Specialist collaborates with the sales team in the development of proposal and pricing strategies, consolidates required proposal information from external and internal groups as needed, meets proposal deadlines through the establishment of priorities as well as target dates and reviews proposal documentation to ensure the accuracy and integrity thereof. 
  • Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining the proposal boilerplate database, updating and coordinating the automated excel-based pricing program, in addition to proactively identifying areas of process improvement and leading efforts to make the appropriate changes.
