Description

Sr. Engineer, Navigation Systems 

 

We are looking for a full -time Navigation Systems Engineer for our expanding  Program. In this role, you will be responsible for simulation and analysis of our navigation sensors designed for air, ground, and underwater vehicles.

 

Requirements   RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Develops test plans and procedure for new product developments / implementations

• Interfaces with Production Engineering to debug issues on existing product lines

• Analyzing test data for compliance with defined product specifications

• Formulating test cases to investigate issues or methods to improve performance or production yield

• Developing code for automation of testing and data analysis

• Contribute to Software and System engineering Design/Development activity and related problem solving

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

 

MS Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

• Programming experience with Python

• Strong Programming skills with C, C++, or MatLab, particularly in an embedded environment

• Strong working knowledge and understanding of INS systems, with emphasis on Kalman Filter design, inertial sensor analysis techniques, and estimation algorithms

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

 

• Experience working in a laboratory environment

• Working knowledge in Statistical data analysis

• Familiarity with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, etc.)

• Cross-functional understanding (mechanical/electrical/software design)

• Understanding of digital signal processing techniques

• Feedback control systems design
