Description

IT Programmer/Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose software needs based on issues reported
  • Design efficient and effective algorithms for resolving issues
  • Code solutions to specifications using appropriate technologies
  • Validate accuracy and appropriateness of coded solutions
  • Train end users for proper use of developed software, including but not limited to providing written instructions and direct instructional lessons
  • Complete documentation required for adherence to departmental procedures
  • Participate in the bi-directional sharing of technical knowledge with fellow IT Team members
  • Provide technical and practical support to all company departments and clients
  • Promote positive morale through co-operation with fellow employees and adherence to the high ethical standards of the company
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Programming Languages/Concepts: VB.Net, SQL
  • Three or more years software development experience
  • Health Care Industry processes and systems experience a plus
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work with little supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and ability to be flexible when priorities change
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft software and products
