Description

The DAVIS Companies is supporting a leader in the Audio industry by securing an Electronic Assembly Technician for their team. This is a 1st shift opportunity with an incredible organization. 

Requirements of Electronic Assembly Tech:

  • Ability to solder and assemble small parts including:
  • Surface mount
  • Through-hole parts and cables
  • Soldering under microscope
  • Mechanical assembly
  • Good dexterity
  • Able to use both manual and cordless hand tools
  • Able to read and comprehend simple and complex instructions and follow written and verbal directions
  • Dependable and able to work extended hours as needed
  • Able to perform basic mathematical computations
  • Able to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of how to manage electro static discharge (ESD)
  • Recommends changes in process work flow
  • Ability to interact with different departments
  • Ability to listen effectively and be aware of production floor activity to support a safe and hazard free working environment.
  • Knowledge of lean and 5S methods and practices and standard production safety protocol
  • Able to work and learn different processes as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
  • Post secondary education or certification in manufacturing, process flow or related field. Must have at least 1-2 years of related experience.
