Exit End/Data Entry
We are seeking a Exit End Operator in the Atlanta, GA area. 
Responsibilities of the Exit End Operator
  • Identify work order specifications. 
  • Identify the coil ID, OD, coil weight, pounds to be produced, finish and packaging specifications.
  • Prepare re-coiler inside diameter (ID) per the work order specifications.
  • Pre-cutting cores (enough to get the order running) to the appropriate width as specified by the work order and placing the cores on arbor. 
  • Start the line up by operating the exit control panel as instructed by management.  
  • Visually inspect all painted material and notify supervisor and coater operator of any defects including roll lines, bad metal, dirt lines, roll nicks, poor flow and paint starve out on either side of the strip. Defects within approximately 50 ft of the end of the coil or 1 inch of OD should be removed and scrapped. All other defects should be flagged and the quality issue should be clearly marked on the outside of plastic wrap on the coil.
  • Completely and accurately fill out paint line production report. 
Requirements of the Exit End Operator
  • The Exit End Operator needs to be proficient in computer skills and data entry. 
  • Their responsibilities are maintaining a production database in Microsoft Access as well as making live inventory adjustments in our main operating system while monitoring quality of the finished product as it comes off the line. 
  • They are also responsible for running a control panel for the exit end of the machine. 
  • Forklift experience is a plus
