Description

Procedure Title: Inventory Control Coordinator 

Location: Swedesboro, NJ 

Shift: 1st (May Turn Into A Swing Shift) 

Pay: $12.00-$15.00 (Upon Experience) 

SUMMARY: 

The Inventory Control Coordinator will coordinate all inventory control for spare parts and equipment as required to support plant maintenance operations. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the department of can gain the required experience for the position. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under maintenance manager but will be led by maintenance planner.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date part’s information (part numbers, vendors, prices etc.) in Proteus. Update information as prices and/or vendor information changes.
  • Keep Vidmars organized and clean. All parts/materials need to be labeled with correct information that matches information in Proteus.
  • Keeps Part’s Trailer organized and clean. All parts/materials need to be labeled with correct information that matches information in Proteus.
  • Keep Bulk Storage Area organized and clean. All parts/materials need to be labeled with correct information that matches information in Proteus.
  • Keep Hazardous Material Lockers organized and clean. Ensure MSDS sheets are present for each item stored in lockers. Reorder items as needed before stock runs out.
  • Each day check Shipping/Receiving Office for any packages for Maintenance Department. (You may have to check several times each day.) Note: Sometimes packages are delivered in Suite A (Front Office) for the Maintenance Department and will have to be picked up there. Ensure Packing Slips are not lost and verify content of packages against packing slip.
  • Turn in verified packing slip to Data Entry/Purchasing Coordinator. Notify Data Entry/Purchasing Coordinator of any discrepancies with shipment. If no packing slip is found with shipment, ensure a verbal confirmation of what was received and from what company is given to the Data Entry/Purchasing Coordinator.
  • Meet with OEM/Vendor Salespersons as required.

If given parts/materials to be shipped out from the Data Entry/Purchasing Coordinator, ensure you have the necessary paperwork (RGA/RMA and return address) and properly package parts/ materials.

 

Employment Requirements:

 

  • Intermediate-level computer experience including MS Word and Excel
  • Solid work history dealing with inventory and cycle counts
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Lift up to 50lbs
  • Forklift experience a plus
