Description

Position Summary:

The Production Technician will be a part of our rapidly growing medical robotics division. Here, we develop medical robots by working with top surgeons and a cross-functional engineering team. The Production Technician is responsible for assembling electro-mechanical medical devices that adhere to applicable FDA, state, OSHA, and ISO regulations and standards. 

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assemble electro-mechanical subassemblies and finished level products per applicable documentation
  • Test products or subassemblies for functionality or quality
  • Generates assembly records for system Device History Records (DHR)
  • Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area (5S methodology)
  • Perform test protocols for product qualifications
  • Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
  • Separate scrap or waste materials for recycling, reuse, or environmentally sound disposal
  • Assist in material cycle counting activities as requested
  • Support engineering development activities

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED with at least 3-5 years of experience in the field or a related area
  • Experience with various tooling and equipment (torque wrenches, hand tools, power supplies, meters, fixtures tooling)
  • Knowledgeable of a GMP environment; reading & checking Bills of Materials, schematics, and machine/assembly drawings
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision with a high degree of organizational and technical competence
