Description

Quality Document Specialist

We are currently seeking a Quality Document Specialist for a global manufacturing company located in the Gwinnett County area. The Quality Document Specialist will prepare/maintain documentation pertaining to the quality specifications of our products. This position reports to the Quality Director.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, writes, and maintains Quality Documentation.
  • Assists Quality personnel with documentation requirements.
  • Assists with inspection scheduling.
  • Interacts with employees, contractors, customers and suppliers concerning Quality document related issues.
  • Maintains Quality document retention system
  • Assists Quality and Engineering with submittals
  • May inspect manufactured products to insure full adherence to specifications, drawings and sales orders.
  • Communicates with Quality Director about work load, customer info, feedback from field, etc.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2 years of Quality related experience, 2 years college or combination of education and experience
  • Familiar with inspection tools including Multi-meters, Calipers, Gauges, etc…
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
  • Experience with ISO or equivalent quality/inspection software preferred
  • Use of standard office equipment required
  • Prior experience in Manufacturing preferred
  • Must be willing to submit to, and pass, a pre-employment drug test

General Comments:

Monday through Friday:  7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Salary Range: $30,000- $40,000 Pay Range is dependent on experience
