We are immediately seeking a Robot Set-up Operator for our client in the Flowery Branch, GA area!! This person will be responsible for setup of the robotic welding machine and MUST have experience setting up a Panasonic robotic welding arm. These positions are TEMP-TO-PERM!! The set-up operator will be responsible for setting up weld parameters, methods and basic programming of the robot welder. 

1st Shift Schedule: 6:50am-3:00pm (Monday-Friday) ***There will be OT involved. 

Starting Pay Rate:$15.00/hr  

Responsibilities of the Set-Up Operator:

  • Experience with Panasonic Welding Robots, Panasonic Controller
  • Reading and working from blueprints
  • Assist in the integration, start-up and debug of plant floor welding equipment, including weld controls, MIG welding robots, spot welding robots.
  • Experience in setting up basic weld parameters, torch angles, welding methods, basic programming
  • Provide support in the analysis and resolution of weld equipment failures.
  • Provide troubleshooting on the robots
  • Change welding consumables as needed.
  • General weld support to welder operators.
  • Manage department tools and equipment.
  • Responsible for manufacturing quality parts; including workmanship, system functionality, providing corrective action feedback to responsible parties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Set-Up Operator:

  • Ability to read and write English
  • High School/GED required
  • Ability to add, subtract, divide, and multiply
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to operate Bending & Welding equipment
  • Ability to move up to 50lbs
  • Good Judgment
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Ability to speak and hear
