Description

The DAVIS Companies is helping one of the leading designers and manufacturers of high quality custom control panels for high-volume OEMs, by securing a hard working and motivated individual to join their team as a Small Enclosure Assembler & Wirer. The right individual will meet the following requirements and contain the following skill sets:

Duties:

• Inspect, assemble sheet metal pieces, mount components, perform wiring, and apply labels per documentation
• Read, understand and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams
• Straighten, align, and organize wire to professional standards
• Apply hand tools to ensure correct torque
• Document QC and problem resolution logs
• Perform re-work of wiring and assembly at request and guidance of QC technicians

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent
• Ability to use “torque” tools
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics / diagrams preferred
• Demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English without the aid of an interpreter
• Ability to work overtime depending on work load
• Visual acuity (wire color and small print on wire)
