Description

Our client in Haverhill, MA is looking for a talented Tweezer Solderer to join their team in a 1st shift basis!

 

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

This position assembles fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units.  Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble units.  Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for assembly.  Works with little or supervision from the group leaders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble basic connectors (body, insulator & contact)
  • Assemble basic subassemblies(insulators & contacts)
  • Measure tolerance level with a hand gauge
  • Use forced/compressed air to clean debris from parts
  • Update activities in software and sign process sheet
  • Basic use of drill and epoxy machines
  • Identify damaged material and tools
  • Seit solder parts
  • Verify proper configuration of piece parts kitted for job
  • Trained in Soldering per J-STD-001 and IPCA-620
  • Rework parts to conforming condition
  • Determine tooling required for the assembly when no specific tooling is called out.

POSITION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education – High School or Equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening test and eye exam.
