Description

Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Receiving 

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire 

Location: Lumberton, NJ 

Shift: 1st (9:00am-5:30pm) 

Pay: $12.00hr 

Summary: Receives and stores material, tools, equipment, and products within warehouse operations and  may engage in some packaging to assist with product preparation for shipment to customers. Receivers will perform the following duties when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.   
 
 Receives incoming material, unloads material, prepares material for distribution to functional department  

 Fill pick tickets, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production.

 Generate appropriate labels for product identification and/or mark materials with identifying information.

 May prepare parcels for shipment in accordance with company and customer specifications to prevent damage, ensure preservation, and accurate identification.

 Work in a manner that promotes efficient handling and minimizes waste.

 Adhere to the principles of “5 S” to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

  Participate in company sponsored training and process improvement activities.

  Complying with all Policies as defined in the Employee Handbook

  Pursuing continuous improvement through training and process improvement

  Complies with all applicable elements of Quality Management System

 

Education/Experience:

 High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
