Description

JOB TITLE: Wash and Breakdown Technician


Summary: Our client in Suwanee, Ga has an immediate opening for a Wash and Breakdown Technician. The Wash and Breakdown Technician may work either pressure washing or disassembling our automatic taping tools. The technician will be cross-trained to perform a variety of different functions within the production environment as well. A technician must work well in a team environment and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement.
 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •     Follow standard work instructions to disassemble and repair automatic taping tools in line with determined quality standards
  •     Comfortable using a pressure washer to clean tools and working with water (waterproof gear provided) 
  •     Meet daily production expectations
  •     Recognize quality defects during the disassembly process
  •     Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  •     Meet all quality specifications
  •     Maintain paperwork assigned by any level of management
  •     Actively participate in all continuous improvement activities
  •     Adhere to all 5S standards (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain)
  •     Flexible to cross train for proficiency on a variety of duties
  •     Adhere to attendance requirements and flexible to work overtime as required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report directly to Warehouse Supervisor.  Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or General Education Requirement degree or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Able to read, speak and understand English.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

  • Active listener who can give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate

SHIFT:

  • 1st Monday-Friday. 6:30 a.m -3:00 p.m.
