Description

3 Welders Needed!

Key thing to have is AV welding experience. if not must have Tig experience

2 weekend shifts available - weekend 3/12's 5a-5:30p Friday sat and Sun - 20% dif
1 swing shift available monday-thursday (4/10's) -  10% diff swing 2-10 some flex with hours

Qualifications / Education / Experience
You’ll be responsible for operating and programming CNC controlled Electron Beam Welders including weld development and weld joint engineering.
• Performs unusual and difficult welding machine operations including making complex set-ups on a large CNC electron beam welder equipped with movable holding table and welding controls in a timely and efficient manner
• Devises and utilizes welding fixtures to facilitate extremely close exacting welding of all types of special components, working in accordance with company/customer specifications
• Works with customers and engineers on developing detailed weld schedules and design/development of tooling
• Works under minimal supervision on duties and tasks that may not be standardized, selecting from instructions that may or may not be formally documented and established
• Trains and/or mentors co-workers and may be the designated go-to employee in the absence of supervision What would really impress us:
• 2- year technical degree (or apprenticeship certificate)
• Experience with continuous improvement activities
• Great communication and a service-driven attitude
• E Beam welding experience What we need from you:
• High School diploma or GED
• 5+ years’ experience in a technical electron beam welding department in a manufacturing setting
• Certification to weld multiple metals
• Ability to read blueprints
• 2 year technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management, ability to read, write, perform basic math
