The DAVIS Companies is helping one of the leading designers and manufacturers of high quality custom control panels for high-volume OEMs, by securing a motivated individual to join their team as a Marketing Communications Associate. The right individual will meet the following requirements and contain the following skill sets:

Position Summary:

The Marketing Communications Associate will be responsible for overseeing the front desk and coordinating integrated marketing communications to enhance the department’s web presence, direct social media efforts, and maintain both internal and external communications frameworks. In addition, this Associate will work with the Marketing Brand Manager to develop and implement communication plans and contribute to the ongoing communication efforts and alignment of the organizations vision and mission statements.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming telephone calls for the purpose of screening calls, transferring calls and responding to inquiries and/or taking messages.

  • Greet employees, visitors/guests in person either by taking messages and/or directing to appropriate personnel.
  • Support and maintain calendar of customer related activities/events.
  • Establish and maintain a calendar of regular social media and blogs.
  • Write accurate, consistent, effective content for digital campaigns (blog posts, interviews etc.).
  • Coordinate and support digital communications programs to increase brand awareness in all target industries - supporting the overall brand.
  • Provide regular monitoring of relevant, business, and manufacturing social media content.
  • Copy/edit and revise communications while providing various support and assistance to marketing team as necessary.
  • Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization

Education, experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or related field.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Working knowledge and experience with a web content management system.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in working effectively independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Detail oriented, customer service and highly motivated.


  • 1 to 2 years of related experience
  • Project management experience
