Description

Our client located in Milford, Ma is looking for a Receptionist to join their 1st shift. This is a temp to hire opportunity.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen and transfers phones calls
  • Greet guests, communication necessary information to staff as needed
  • Receive and distribute mail
  • Distribute deliveries made to the front entrance
  • Monitor office and kitchen supplies (order when necessary)
  • Reorganize common areas as needed
  • Support in-office meetings (order lunch, reserve space, set up rooms etc.)
  • Tracking of employee time off for all domestic employees
  • Even planning (Holiday parties, scheduled celebrations etc.)
  • Maintain employee contact information and distribution lists
  • Send companywide announcements on behalf of senior management
  • Administration of employee cell phones
  • Maintain supplies for office equipment (postage machine, copiers, water coolers)
  • Maintain lobby PowerPoint slide w/company information, visitor welcome messages etc.
  • Mail sorting and distribution
  • Filtering and forwarding of Company E-mail (Info@email.com)
  • Other Responsibilities as required.

 

Experience:

Work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role

 

Education:

High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus

 

Traits/Skills required:

 

  • Must be dependable
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Able to Multi-task
  • Be able to work independently
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
