Description

General Summary:

Responsible for the assembly of patient positioning devices and complimenting accessory products.

Fulfills Quality System requirements as described within the Quality Manual.

Complies with all health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and job hazard assessments applicable to specified job activities including medical evaluations as required by job function.

Essential Job Functions:

1.            Evaluates written complaints pertaining to mechanical and hydraulic devices       35%

2.            Disassembles devices, replaces worn or damaged parts, and reassembles mechanical units and minor electronic or mechanical subassemblies.               35%

3.            Accountable for completing Device History Forms used for FDA compliance. And the routing of product through the manufacturing process. 10%

4.            Ensures proper application of established company policies for GMP, personal safety and employee relations.                5%

5.            Maintains proper standards for work area and tools.        5%

6.            Must have a thorough knowledge of GMP requirements and be aware of device defects which may occur from the improper performance of their specific jobs. 5%

7.            Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.  5%

Experience & Knowledge

1.            English reading comprehension is required to follow Standard Operating Procedures

2.            Ability to proficiently use electronic and mechanical hand tools.

3.            Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required

4.            Assembly and disassembly experience are preferred
