Description

Position: Sr Development Scientist

Location: Loveland, CO

Candidate will need experience with Beckman Coulter; LS 13320, Multisizer, Counter Z2, and Vi-CELL

Terms: Contract to Direct, 12-18 Month Contract with option to hire

We are looking for a scientist to:

• Plan and run laboratory experiments

• Learn the theory and operation of our instruments

• Learn and follow our product development process Daily responsibilities include:

• Running experiments, collecting data, and interpreting results

• Writing clear documentation

• Participation in project management meetings

• Management of laboratory supplies and equipment

• Videoconferencing with colleagues  

 

Qualifications & Skills Education and Experience

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering

• Minimum of one-year laboratory bench experience Assets

• Experience with technical writing

• Experience with cell and tissue culture

• Experience with pH meter, osmometer, and microscopy

• Experience with quality systems including International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Good Laboratory Practice, and Good Manufacturing Practice

• Experience with collecting, organizing, interpreting, and presenting research data

• M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering
