Production Manager

Location: Hammonton, New Jersey 

Pay: $15.00hr

Job Type: Full-time (Temp-to-Hire)

Overtime/Weekends required


Positon summary:

The Production Manager will be responsible for maintaining the daily operations of production. They will be hands on overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, and maintaining records. As a Production Manager, follows the responsibility of direct supervision for all production employees, and the occasional customer. Additionally being accountable for the development of a positive work environment through consistent communication and exceptional attention to detail. All while ensuring a safe and efficient environment that will assist in achieving the daily objectives.

Production Manager Duties

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Production Manager Skills and Qualifications

  • Supervision, Safety Management, Managing Processes, Surveillance Skills, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Judgment, Numeracy, Communication
  • Bilingual (Spanish proficient)
  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift

Physical Demands

  • Walking, standing and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching
  • Work outside and inside; around machinery with moving parts, moving objects or vehicles (forklifts); exposure to dampness and humidity.
