Job Type: Temp-to-Hire 




  • Assist technicians/mechanics in identifying parts needed to complete work.
  • Advises technicians/mechanics on substitutions and/or modifications of parts when identical replacements are not available.
  • Advise the maintenance department of parts availability, lead times, and arrival of back ordered parts.
  • Build relationships with customers, to better meet their needs.
  • Help with shipping and receiving duties such as putting parts away and pulling customer orders.
  • *Stage and manage orders for active & scheduled repairs.
  • *Process parts returns from the technicians/mechanics.
  • Answering calls to assist customers with parts needs.
  • Following up with customers and vendors.
  • Learn to navigate through the intranet and parts catalogs.
  • Operate a forklift as necessary.
  • Properly create a purchase order.
  • Represent yourself in a professional manor when dealing with customers and vendors.
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn and train.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet multiple deadlines, have process-driven approach to multi-tasking.
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work on their own initiative.



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  •  1 to 3 years customer service experience.
  • *One year experience within the plumbing or welding industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Need to possess the ability to multitask and prioritize simultaneous projects while obtaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office including Excel & Word a plus
  • 5S and Lean Six Sigma also a plus.
