Verify and retain or store records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.  Verify part number, quantity, revision (where applicable) matches related documents ,  Weigh and / or measure items of outgoing shipments to verify information against pack list, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and or other related documents.

Responsibilities
 Domestic and International shipping experience is required.

• Arrange International Freight, Bill of Ladings, Waybills & Pick-up Schedules
• Determine Associated Costs
• Knowledge of acceptable shipping materials and methods

1. Perform transactions in operating system as required in recording of all outgoing shipment information.
2. Prepare shipping documents, package the goods in shipping containers using spacers, fillers and protective padding. Properly address and label shipments, ensuring correct freight or postal rates are used
3. Ensure all customer shipping instructions/requirements are met
4. Arrange pickup with carriers outside of normal pickup schedules.
5. Coordinate hand carry delivery required to deliver hand carry shipments
6. Provide direction to others in preparing outgoing shipments
7. Add parts to inventory upon receipt from receiving and update system information
8. Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies and submit replenishment requests as needed
9. Must be capable of using scanners, postage machines, scales,
10. Operate tier-lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments to shipping and receiving platform to perform job duties.
11. Responsible for keeping shipping & dock area clear & free of material and debris
12. Follow all safety requirements
13. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
14. Ability to follow all written and oral instructions.
15. Perform other related duties as assigned.
