Description

Seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join the Global Services business at one of our top biotech clients in Milford, MA on a contract basis. In this role, the individual will provide analytic support to strategic business growth opportunities, product line and geographical performance analytics and Operational performance evaluation. This position will function more as a Business Analyst and report to the Sr. Finance Director and help ensure support for one of the largest divisions in the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in company activities with respect to Top line trending, developing and maintaining effective performance metrics.
  • Perform financial analysis, including recurring business ‘stick rate’ on Instrument business growth.
  • Perform periodical business metrics analysis.
  • Develop new metrics for generating detail understanding of the business performance.
  • Provide support in understanding field services execution needs for Top line growth.
  • Enhance and optimize existing reporting to tailor information as needed for the company's senior management team.
  • Responsible for the evaluating efficiency of company's Capital and inventory investment.
  • Supporting quarterly performance analytics by effectively interacting with the Field organization for their input and challenges.
  • Work with worldwide management units to develop financial analytics and modeling to evaluate opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field of study. MBA highly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting/finance functions or as business analyst.
  • Experience in Global Service environment is a big plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of computerized application systems including advanced Excel skills, SAP and BW or Analysis for Office experience
  • Business partnering experience demonstrating customer focus and proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with a variety of personnel
