Client Support Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY:   Contacts clients via fax, phone or email to gather and clarify information to resolve problem requisition issues.  Assists the Problem Resolution Specialist as needed with problem resolution including client notifications of cancellations. Performs other administrative functions as required by the dept.



  • Contacts customers to resolve missing or unclear test requisition information; updates Harvest LIS as needed
  • Processes incoming faxes for the department. Forwards faxes as needed to other depts.
  • Serves as back up for OI PO forwarding to Shipping and the client communication regarding the order status
  • Assists with the production of results and order reports via the Harvest LIS report applications
  • Assists Client Support Coordinators with shipping and collection supply orders
  • Assists Problem Resolution Specialist with client contact and problem resolution as needed
  • Assists with any daily productivity or QA information compilation as needed
  • Adds providers and updates primary fax numbers in Harvest and Snap
  • Records customer communication and activities handled in
  • Removes SPAM type e mail from our e mail public folder
  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures
  • Regular attendance and timeliness is essential



  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Some inbound and outbound phone customer service experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.  Able to generate business correspondence and properly document and enter client notes into CRM tool and LIS.
  • Moderate in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Good typing skills.  Internet conversant.
  • Experience with a plus.
  • Able to multi-task among various computer applications with a high level of accuracy
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an even temperament
  • Able to work a varied schedule including Saturdays

Pay/Salary: $13.00 - $14.00/hr; based on experience.

Hours/Shift: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Tuesday-Saturday. *(note: Hours/Shift will be 8:30am to 5:pm; M-F during training and proficiency, but after a 2-3 weeks it will transition to a Tuesday-Saturday shift.)
