Customer Service Representative

Our client in Ashland, MA is looking for an energetic person to fill their need for a Customer Service Representative!

Responsibilities – Logistics

  • Run daily reports:
    • 560 report (JDE base report)
    • Code report (showcase based) 
    • HTS code report for shipments (showcase based)
  • Email code report to Regional Sales Managers and Customer Service 
  • Work closely with the shipping department to ensure receipt of the required documentation (including W/D and hazmat documents) to arrange pick up from customer designated freight forwarders
  • Work  with CS to ensure ship instructions are available and all required documents (NEU, MOI) are received
  • Communicate with CS for clarifications on customer ship instruction 
  • Check sales order for documentation required to go with shipments
  • Communicate with Compliance for any exporting questions
  • Communicate with CS and finance on any orders on hold
  • Send request with required docs, to the Freight Forwarder for pick up 
  • Coordinate pick up between Freight Forwarder and Shipping
  • Send shipping the required documents and instructions for pick ups
  • Send requests to Forwarders for ZW quotes, follow through to shipment
