Description

DAVIS Companies has partnered with a leader in the Biomedical Manufacturing space to identify a Learning Management System Admin to join their team. The Learning Management System Administrator, is responsible for the support of the administrative and technical aspects of the LMS System.

Responsibilities of the LMS Systems Admin: 

  • Supports the administrative and technical aspects of the Cornerstone LMS system, including creating curriculums, testing, deploying, maintaining and reporting on learning content through the LMS.
  • Establish and maintain custom user groups.
  • Perform enrollment of users, customer’s purchase orders, creation and distribution of reports, monitoring of system updates/changes and light troubleshooting in the LMS.
  • Create and maintain automated and custom emails.
  • Identify methods to improve productivity and growth via use of the LMS system.
  • Functions as the assistant to the LMS administrator to ensure appropriate user rights and controls, perform User Acceptance Testing, and ensure appropriate system configuration and maintenance of the Company’s Quality System software solutions.
  • Executes on project tasks and timelines and is held accountable to them.

Qualifications of the LMS System Admin:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience OR  Master’s degree with 0-2 years of experience, preferably in areas of life sciences, engineering, or quality assurance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Database Management, LMS, and IT Solutions for highly complex multi-disciplinary systems.
  • Professional designations are not required but training and certificates in quality or regulatory affairs would be a plus (e.g. CQM, CQE, CQA, RAC, CLIA, Six Sigma, Lean Principles)
  • Experience using Oracle, Business Objects, SQL, ComplianceWire, Cornerstone, Microsoft Office, and/or Minitab computer software is an asset.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and Internet Learning System. Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards is preferred.
