Seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for a mid-size manufacturing company based out of Milford, MA.  This person will serve as the first line of contact to visitors, customers and business professionals in person, online and via telephone. Candidate will maintain a positive, professional, and friendly company image while multitasking in this highly visible role. This role plays a critical part in supporting the daily operations of a busy office environment with the potential to grow responsibilities.  This is a temp to hire opportunity, $15-$17/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities of Receptionist/Admin Assistant:

  • Answer, screen, and transfer telephone calls to appropriate personnel in a courteous, professional manner
  • Route web inquiries promptly to the appropriate personnel
  • Perform administrative office support, including filing, labeling, record keeping and maintaining internal records
  • Receive and distribute mail
  • Prepare and disseminate letters and mailings for the Sales and HR Departments
  • Review employee expense reports
  • Arrange employee meetings, luncheons, activities and other employee relation events
  • Order, maintain and organize office supplies
  • Maintain general office equipment including fax, copiers and telephone system
  • Serve as liaison with landlord and cleaning company and address concerns appropriately
  • Adjust and modify cell plans per employee travel arrangements
  • Work closely with other Marketing and Sales department on special projects


Requirements of Receptionist/Admin Assistant:

  • High School Diploma required; additional education preferred
  • 2-4 years experience in an Administrative, Clerical or Office Support position
  • Must be dependable with a great attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are essential
  • Strong Organizational skills
