Description

Our client in the Central Manchester, CT area has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Process Analyst or Engineering contingent with Overhaul and Repair experience (highly desired).  The position requires confident and quick decision making in a fast paced repair environment. The ability to move from one task to another on a moment’s notice is essential.

 

Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Process Analyst:

  • Evaluate overhaul inspection result and disposition accordingly
  • Develop repair procedures per DMWR, approved planning, and customer requirement in order to expeditiously and cost effectively repair components as required
  • Create inspection plans for overhaul and repair as required per DMWR and customer requirement
  • Develop and create planning and standard work processes to support analysts, engineers and applicable personnel.  Provide thorough documentation and communication of regular job activities such as problem resolution, continuous improvement, engineering tests etc.
  • Provide leadership for overhaul and repair projects and provide technical contributions in support of additional projects led by other experience engineers, analysts and managers.
  • Formulate and design tooling fixtures for new components and existing components
  •  Assist in assembly and testing as required
  • Interact with customers as required
  • Assist in planning and expediting repairs as required
  •  Assist in the development of SAR (Source Approval Request) packages for future business

Requirements for the Manufacturing Process Analyst:

  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder
  •  Associates degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related experience.
  • 2 to 4 years manufacturing flow process experience required and prior aerospace manufacturing experience is desired
  • Solid computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite including basic excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Prior engineering software experience desired; Experience with CAD/CAM: Seimens NX6 is desired
  • Capability to work in a team as well as individually
  • Proficient in English. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
