Description

TOOLING ENGINEER (Contract to Hire)
Florence, SC

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages all engineering changes through tool shops 
  • Applies knowledge of metal and assembly tooling to determine corrective action necessary to ensure components’ tooling are kept in good condition
  • Provides engineering design concepts & CAD models 
  • Act as liaison between tool shop and manufacturing plant for tool maintenance activities
  • Sets up, runs off, and tests dies to produce a product to specifications
  • CNC Programs – Write, post, troubleshoot, and maintain all CNC programs, using AutoCad, SolidWorks, Merry Mechanization, Nishimbo, and Omni-Win software

QUALIFICIATIONS: 
  • Associates Degree, B.S in Engineering discipline preferred 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in tool and die design
  • Proficient in metal stamping tooling design and manufacturing processes 
  • Proficient with CAD (Solidworks preferred)
