UG NX Designer/Drafter
 
Skills:
  • Design and/ or revise bearings and components to Customer requirements and/or  design guidelines.
  • Utilize  computer based design algorithms, engineering calculations, and design standards as the baseline for design.
  • Review Customer documentation to extract design requirements, and ensure design compliance.
  • Maintain  design documentation and revision control (management of change).  
  • Employ 3D computer modeling using computer aided design tools as the basis for complex models.   Generate/ revise drawings from 3D models.
  • Assemble and maintain product attribute data.
  • Maintain 2D legacy design drawings and data.

Primary project work will include support of bearing retainer source change initiative (drawing markups, model/drawing revisions, management of change, and documentation). 

Candidates for this position should possess:

1) Minimum 2 years mechanical design experience including applied knowledge of GD&T principles.

2) NX modeling/ drawing experience
