The company’s IT Project Management Office is seeking to attract exceptional college students for our Summer Internship Program, which provides meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth with great impact on a global business. The company’s IT Internship Program provides future business leaders with the opportunity to work on a variety of critical cross functional business assignments, test your skills, use your academic knowledge and expand your interests in a real-world business scenario. Through the program, you will be supported and mentored by a community of exceptional talent including; company leaders, managers, subject matter experts, and other interns. We have very high expectations of our participants and anticipate their strong dedication to the program and to our company. We expect candidates to have a sense of ownership in their career development and a commitment to excellence. The company’s Internship Program is 10-12 weeks in duration throughout the summer (June – mid August). We will be taking applications for our program on an ongoing basis from January to March. Qualified applicants selected for an interview will be contacted by a member of the company’s team to discuss next steps. What you'll do:

  • Work effectively under the direction of the IT PMO team to conduct business analysis and project management tasks
  • Clearly and effectively communicate project status and updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Organize, Collect, and Analyze business process data and provide innovations for process improvements
  • Participate in Scrum Team efforts for expansion of Salesforce use
  • Analyze software applications and providing a methodology / templates for reporting evaluation results
  • Update documentation and perform system testing as necessary
  • Coordinate with business units to proactively understand needs for continued improvement efforts
  • Curate, create, and update self-help information for business end users
  • Explore new functionality and software systems and provide thought leadership for strategic implementation for improved business operations

What you'll bring:

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited university during the academic calendar year, but on summer break
  • Continuous improvement & growth-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of basic business technology and software programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Website searches for problem resolution)
  • Able to take creative approaches to resolving challenges
  • Strong communications skills (web-conference, documentation, and interpersonal)
  • Ability to collaboratively work in an office and corporate environment
  • Proactive self-starter, with a driven desire to make change on a broader scale
  • Honest, trustworthy, and dependable
  • Aptitude or course work in information systems, marketing systems, communications, and / or business management
  • Understanding of design for presentation of information
  • Understanding of / experience with Agile Project Management and/or Design Thinking Methodologies
