Description

Looking for an Assembler/ Production Technician in the Golden, CO on 1st shift. 

Responsibilities:

  • Packaging and flame sealing of Work in Progress (WIP).
  • Labeling, organization and storage of Work in Progress (WIP).
  • Basic production/manufacturing of products to documented specifications.
  • Fulfilling production orders in SAP to meet customer delivery dates.
  • Kitting and order fulfillment of kits (finished goods).
  • Documentation and peer review of production and kitting process.
  • Assisting Laboratory Chem Techs/Chemists during manufacturing.
  • Inventory control and goods movement of WIP products via SAP.
  • Preparation and transportation of finished goods orders via SAP.
  • Assist in other areas when required.

Quality

  • Responsible for ensuring 100% compliance to specifications by ensuring proper manufacturing, testing, packaging, labeling.
  • Accuracy in completion of required production documents.
  • Focus on process control to avoid customer impacted Service Requests.
  • Attention to detail, organization and ability to work quickly without errors.
  • Responsible for following written work procedures and SOPs to avoid variation in process.
  • Assist team in updating and improving processes and updating SOPs documents.
  • Assist team in constant improvement and solutions to problems/issues while increasing efficiency.

Qualifications / Education:

BS./B.A. in Chemistry or Science related field preferred. High School Education or GED required. Experience working/intern in a laboratory environment preferred.

Experience required:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, organization and ability to work quickly without errors.
  • Ability to work on one’s own initiative as well as in a Team environment.
  • Ability to work in a culture with productivity expectations and output goals.
  • Ability to produce high quality product with a high productivity output.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to utilize Lean methods for problem solving.
  • Ability to review work and find errors.
  • Must be willing to perform repetitive routine tasks consistently as well as non-routine tasks.
  • Must be able to work with chemicals in a laboratory hood.
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

Specialized training required:

  • Familiar with various Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Experience with Great Plains preferred but not required.
