This is an opportunity to build state of the art, Electro-dynamic mechanical testing instruments.  The products you would assist to build are used by many major Colleges, Universities and Fortune 500 and other innovative companies to ensure their products are of the highest quality and meet or exceed all performance requirements. We configure our test instruments to our customers specific order in a work cell environment. Our product line is diverse as would be your opportunity to contribute to our success. 


  • Assembles a variety of mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical instruments and sub-assemblies

  • Tests sub-assemblies and instruments as per established procedures

  • Assembles a wide variety of kits and accessory items

  • Troubleshoots and repairs sub-assemblies and instruments

  • Follows all procedures and processes  

  • Responsible for assembly of most major subassemblies including electrical components such as power supplies, cables, and subassemblies of the electromagnetic motors and mechanical components such as load frames, grips, chambers, and baths


  • Minimum requirement of High School diploma or GED equivalent, preferably with technical focus. Knowledge acquired through post-secondary technical education is desirable.
  • 4-7 years of experience directly related to working with mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical tasks on sub-assemblies and assemblies.
  • Must be able to read blueprints, follow written procedures and drawings, and verbal instructions

  • Ability to use hand tools (i.e. screwdrivers, wrenches), power tools (i.e. nut driver), and electronic test devices to assemble and conduct preliminary tests on small assemblies

  • Must be able to work independently and in team settings to accomplish goals and target objectives

  • The individual must be able to handle multiple assignments, draw from past experiences, skills, and knowledge to assemble and resolve problems

  • A general knowledge of PC/Computers is a requirement
