Our client in Manchester, NH is looking for multiple Quality Inspectors to join their team.

Job Purpose

Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. May assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations. Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls.

Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities

  • Performs program independent inspections, validations, and/or verifications of assigned items to ensure compliance to manufacturing processes, procedures, and contractual obligations.

  • Performs independent inspections of assigned tasks (documentation reviews, hardware inspection, assembly inspection, tests validation, etc.) using blueprints, specifications, contractual documents and visual inspection methods.

  • Supports QC areas as a QC inspector by receiving inspection, assembly, machine shop, electrical, welding, and testing and document Prescreen.

  • Inspects first articles, in-process parts, and products prior to shipment using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, optical comparators, and vision.

  • Generates spreadsheets for data collection.

  • Generates first article inspection reports

  • Reconciles final inspection documentation for shipments.

  • Tests incoming raw materials.

  • Uses precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers, and fixtures and gauges to check work and perform detailed inspection of parts produced.

  • Reads Instrumentation and gauges to accurately measure dimensions on parts being machined within specified tolerance.

  • Wears proper safety equipment and comply with company safety rules at all times.

Education And Experience

  • AS/AA degree preferred or equivalent experience in technical field.

  • 1 year Quality Assurance experience preferred.

  • Experience in semiconductor industry desired.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

  • Must be a team player and able to work with others in an effective and appropriate manner.

  • Must be well organized and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Successful candidate must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
