Description

Our client located in Bedford, MA is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their team on a contract basis. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 Year Technical Degree; BA or BS a plus
  • Minimum 3 year’s experience assembling, testing and validating complex electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Experience in biotechnology, medical device or regulated environment a plus

Requirements:

  • Experience with R&D Lab operations
  • Ability to set-up and conduct product testing and collect data
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects independently
  • Ability to design/create test methods
  • Solidworks experience a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced self-directed environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

 

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Develop, document and build prototypes and test fixtures
  • Utilize CAD Software to document prototypes and test fixtures
  • Operate test fixtures to support engineering test plans
  • Identify product defects, troubleshoot and provide solutions
  • Rework and/or repair equipment and products as necessary
  • Gather and organize data to support investigations and engineering conclusions
  • Perform equipment qualification and scheduled maintenance
  • Organize and maintain R&D Lab
