Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Mon-Fri : 8:30 am -5:30 pm 

Primary Responsibilities                                                                                                       

  • Prioritizes dynamic workload in a fast-paced environment to ensure that our internal and external customer orders are met on time
  • Responsible for clear and effective communication with multiple departments especially Quality Control. 
  • Receive multiple shipments daily, including unpacking, opening, sorting received goods and entering inventory into inventory control system. 
  • Work with manufacturing team during kit production and packaging
  • Perform daily activities such fulfilling customer service orders, and making inventory adjustments in Exchequer.
  • Ship Reagent Kits to customers using FedEx. Ship other items by request of employees needing this assistance.
  • Collaborate with the Site Leader on tasks as needed.
  • Perform a variety of special projects or additional work as needed/assigned 
  • Follow all company safety policies & other safety precautions within work area
  • Work to Oxford Immunotec’s clear guiding company values at all times
  • Regular attendance and timeliness is essential for our exciting objectives to be met

Qualifications

  • Experience in a GMP or regulated environment preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to work methodically and systematically with great attention to detail
  • 2-4 years’ related shipping, receiving and inventory control experience
  • Experience with Excel, Microsoft and ERP’s a must. 
  • An understanding of the diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries a plus
  • Must possess excellent problem solving skills 
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and have a strong customer service orientation and positive attitude.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
