We are currently seeking a Synthesis Operator to join our client's Chemical Manufacturing facility in Taunton, MA.  In this role, the individual will be responsible for batch manufacturing of chemical materials.  Working in our Synthesis Manufacturing facility is a great way to gain experience in the area of Chemistry while learning different types of equipment used in this business. 


  • Responsible for batch manufacturing of chemical materials
  • Follow detailed instructions/documentation on procedures and processes for production
  • Responsible for the production of finished products, accurately adding and recording specified material amounts, gathering and recording operation information and data and for ensuring batches meet final criteria
  • Utilize and properly handling reactors, filtering equipment and other tools
  • Perform calculations and other tasks dedicated by the manager


  • Associates or Bachelors Degree, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related field of study.  A High School Diploma is acceptable if coupled with 3 years of working experience in a Chemical Synthesis environment
  • Previous experience in batch manufacturing of chemical materials strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and follow written procedures and documentation
  • Ability to learn new processes
  • Excellent communication skills
