The DAVIS Companies has partnered with a leading Biomedical Manufacturing company to identify an HR Generalist to join their growing team!

Summary of the HR Generalist: 

The HR Generalist/Leave Administrator will provide generalist support for the HR team and associates primarily within North America but will interface significantly with the HR teams in Asia and Europe. The HRG/Leave Administrator will be responsible for ensuring flawless execution of core HR processes. This role requires someone with excellent HR agility to administer complex medical leaves and master data management skills.Role can be physically located in our corporate office in San Jose or can be remote.

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:

  •  Lead POC for multi-state absence management, workers compensation, vacation donation program and coordination with vendors
  • Ambassador for new associate on-boarding beginning with the pre-hire process including but not limited to background checks and screenings with hiring managers and various internal departments.
  • Schedule and conduct new hire orientation and coordinate associate immersion processes
  • Conduct 90 day check in for new hires
  • Processing of terminations including conducting exit interviews
  • Coordinate associate action processing with payroll and IT department
  • Create and maintain all Associate electronic employment files including I9 processing and updates in E-verify
  • HR SharePoint site owner
  • Timely Workday data input and maintenance of full associate life cycle with a high level of data integrity and accuracy
  • Audit data for interface integrity between Payroll, Workday etc.
  • Lead AAP/EEO Reporting with 3rd party vendor and summarize findings into actions for next year hiring goals
  • Run month end and on-going data reporting for Finance and Admin needs in Workday and other HRIS systems
  • Provide back up support for HR operations regarding immigration, Daily Management Board
  • Process spot bonus, brilliance awards, referral and tuition reimbursements

Requirements for the HR Generalist: 

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR functions
  • BS in related field preferred
