Seeking a 3-5 year Marketing Communications Specialist to join top Life Science company on a 6+ month contract basis.  Full time Mon-Friday.  Drug and background screen required.

The marketing communications specialist coordinates the development and execution of worldwide integrated communications programs. This role will work closely with the senior marketing manager and colleagues across the company to align the communications needs and requirements of the businesses to corporate goals. The role requires a direct involvement in content creation, and campaign management, have a working knowledge of marketing best practices and regularly contribute strategically to drive contemporary approaches in marketing communications.


  • Define and implement digital marketing plans to include best-in-class experiences via the web and other interactive channels using web, e-commerce, and other tools. Programs should deliver measurable improvements in lead generation, customer satisfaction, conversion and revenue.
  • Serves as an advocate and educator for digital marketing within the group with a continual focus on creating and activating high quality content into channels that will deliver a high return on investment.
  • Integrates communications strategy and messages across all online and offline channels (i.e. email, e-commerce, website, social media, mobile, display, print collateral, advertising, PR and trade promotions).
  • Assist with writing, spanning various pieces, including social media, blogs, application notes, white papers, brochures, programs, promotional materials, website content, newsletters, invitations, presentations, and other projects as needed.
  • Establish and evaluate metrics for program success and recommend data-driven tactical shifts going forward.
  • Assists in planning and coordination of webinars, and other multimedia activities.


  • A bachelor's degree required; preferably in marketing, journalism, advertising or communication
  • Minimum 3-5 years work experience, experience supporting science or technology company a plus
  • Advanced experience in digital marketing
  • Superior content and campaign management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Individual must be able to think creatively and strategically, have excellent judgment, and be able to work in a changing environment.
  • Willingness to support and/or lead projects
  • Ability to function well under pressure and to handle confidential matters with discretion
