Description

Looking for Medical Lab Technologists in Norwood, MA 

Position Summary:  Will assist with the set-up DNA extraction, set-up Real time PCR, analyze and reporting results. Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM.

Essential Functions:

  • Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices and follow SOP’s for testing of blood samples in high volume laboratory
  • Set up for DNA extracting specimens, Real-time PCR, analyze and report PCR results.
  • Follows all company safety policies and other safety precautions within work area
  • Regular attendance and timeliness is essential

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in a science-related field is required. MT or MB (ASCP) or equivalent a plus
  • Pipetting experience is required
  • Experience in molecular techniques such as nucleic acid extraction, PCR or real time PCR a plus
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical reports.
  • Flexible and adaptable with superior attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Strong documentation skills
