Controller Job Opening located in the Greater North Atlanta area.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Management of all general ledger accounting and financial reporting activities including consolidation of foreign subsidiaries
  • Management of the day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, credit and collections, cost accounting, payroll, fixed assets and other treasury functions, with a focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory and expense accruals
  • Safeguarding the assets of the Company by developing and overseeing internal controls
  • Development of a monthly management reporting package which evaluates Business performance against established KPI’s and provides actionable forward-looking information to support management of the Business
  • Provide support and leadership to the implementation of a new ERP system
  • Financial forecasting/budgeting
  • Financial analysis in support of capital investments and other key business decisions
  • Supervision and development of Financial staff
  • Oversight of tax planning and compliance professionals
  • Management of annual audit process
  • Interpretation and research of GAAP pronouncements, development of recommendations for implementation
  • Serve as point of contact for Company’s lender and ensure compliance with covenants and handle all reporting requirements and requests for information
  • Support acquisition activities, including due diligence and purchase accounting



Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting and a minimum 6-10 years of relevant experience including Manufacturing exposure
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience strongly preferred (but not required)
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, including rules specific to cost accounting/inventory valuation, purchase accounting and foreign subsidiaries
  • Experience with ERP implementation and systems/processes/controls improvements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
