Description

Large Healthcare Organization Seeking Senior Accountant!!! 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist CFO in month end closing process.
  • Prepare and Process journal entries.
  • Prepare intercompany invoices set to the facilities.
  • Assist CFO in verifying all accounts payable and patient accounting transactions are correctly posted to the general ledger.
  • Work with Human Resource Assistant to maintain the petty cash accurate count.
  • Work with Accounts Payable on all accruals.
  • Assist CFO in post close financial analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain fixed asset log and review all capital expenditures in detail for agreement.
  • Verify accuracy and make recommendations for corrections on account balances.
  • Prepare quarterly disclosure schedule
  • Maintain A/P, code invoices, ensure proper approvals, and email the scanned invoices to AP office weekly
  • Update daily cash deposit log and daily cash upfront collection log
  • Ensure all accounting policies and procedures are followed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain patient information in confidential manner.
  • Assists the external auditors, internal auditors, and others with the review of periodic financial reports
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.
  • Performs other duties as requested by the CFO.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is Required

5+ years in Accounting.

Supervisory experience is a plus.

Healthcare Industry Required!
