Description

Title: Inside Sales Rep

Salary: $50,000-55,000

Hours: 8am – 5pm with an hour lunch.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• First point of contact with foodservice accounts, providing strong customer service
• Work closely with Sales managers on all customer accounts to help build sales as a team
• Responsible for account margin management through accurate pricing and tracking
• Manage the input of foodservice orders with the Orders team ensuring 100% accuracy of products, quantity, pricing, deliveries, etc.
• Attend market condition meetings and sales meetings to build market knowledge
• Assist with customer visits and attend customer meetings as necessary
• Manage CRM software and utilize for customer relationship management
• Work with a daily customer call list / checking historic data to ensure market share
• Manage Broadline Distributors with day-to-day coverage. Communicate with buyers on a weekly basis
• Work closely with Transportation team to ensure their awareness of delivery needs and delivery date changes
• Manage customer credits and billing deductions along with sales managers
• Assist with creating SHR’s for all orders being processed.
• Communicate any packaging concerns, shortages, overages, QC issues, etc. to sales members and customers
• Work closely with Customer Service team to assist with order fulfillment, troubleshooting, reallocation, etc.
• Forward final order confirmations once order is entered and/or shipped along with all back-up PO documentation to billing department daily
• Any additional tasks within scope and ability as requested by management

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to clearly speak, read, and write in English
• Excellent computer skills
• Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
• Experience with documenting editing
• Excels as a team player
• Ability to respond to a large influx of emails daily
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedure
