Description

2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor ($70-80K/year)

We are partnering with a large manufacturing organization in Newnan, GA,  looking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to their maintenance team. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with benefits and is 2nd shift (3-11:30 PM M-F). 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct supervision of Maintenance Technicians supporting various fabrication and assembly departments. 
  • Responsible for oversight and repair of Electrical and mechanical systems and equipment to include hydraulic, pneumatic, steam and elect 
  • Plan, organize, and direct Maintenance Dept personnel activities. 
  • Proactively manage related expenditures and labor costs.
  • Prepare and manage projects and other improvement activities.
  • Proactively support the needs, goals, and targets of the other departments 
  • Direct daily supervision of Maintenance Dept personnel.
  • Planning and coordination of activities of Maintenance personnel related to:    Work Order scheduling and completion; Planned and Autonomous Maintenance; Project Team Activities; 
  • Continuous Improvement activities (using root cause analysis w/zero base loss targets); Training and 5S (maintenance and improvement)

QUALIFICAITONS:

  • 5 + years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
  • Knowledge of PLC and Robotics Troubleshooting 
  • Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project
