CNC Programmer:
We have an immediate - Direct Hire / Permanent opening - for a CNC Programmer working at our client facility out in the Social Circle, GA area.

Summary:
The Programmer must proficient in MasterCAM and ideally Solidworks as well. (the MasterCAM is more important). They will oversee the programming of our CNC equipment in the Machine Shop, from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Work with engineering and design on programming milling machines to produce parts / components used in internal production equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled programming repairs as needed.
• When there is a breakdown, is able to determine the root cause for the breakdown, and repairs in such a manner that the resolution does not result in continual failure of the same manner.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Diagnose programming problems; Maintains detailed records of programming tasks.
• May be required by the company to travel to satellite locations as needed.
• Ideally, some PLC programming and troubleshooting, but not required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
• MasterCam - strong programming skills and ideally some experience with CAD/3D models (we use Soldworks)
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Hydraulic, pneumatic skills / experience, preferred, but not required,
