Compliance Engineer:
Immediate - Direct Hire Opening - for a Compliance Engineer in the Franklin Springs, GA area. 

Summary:
This person will be responsible for making sure various Open and Closed Commercial Refrigerators and Freezers meet the up-to-current established safety standards. They will also submit testing results and/or paperwork, communicate with staff members of all levels, and educate personnel and customers about compliance regulations such as the Department of Energy (DOE) and NSF as the “MUST” requirement. 

Responsibilities: 

• Act as the liaison, and the technical advisor to oversee the manufacturing team, ETO designing team, and the front-end sales engineering team, to ensure the quality and the integrity of the end-product before transitioning to the lab for the testing. 
• Create engineering procedures and guidelines to ensure that governmental and industry regulations are met by the designing, engineering and manufacturing team in both international and U.S domestic markets.
• Coordinate information between business units within the plant, educating ETO designing teams and the front-end sales engineering team about product specifications and participating in training of personnel. They also keep engineering teams up-to-date on new or revised regulations that may be relevant to product specifications and design standard.   
• Maintain the integrity of the technical documentation, the testing results, the testing records, and the certification records to ensure the business in compliance with the industrial standard and the required compliance program such as DOE, and NSF. 
• Represent the business unit to participate in the conference and/or sit in on the code committee to ensure the business and the end-product in compliance with the up-to-current regulatory requirement i.e. ASHARE, AHRI, NSF, and DOE. 
• This position works under the Engineered to Order (ETO) and the fast pace environment therefore effective communication skills is required. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a 4 years’ ABET or STEM engineering degree preferring candidate with electrical or mechanical engineering background. 
• 8+ years of experiences with product testing and/or lab analysis
