Controls Engineer
We are currently seeking a Controls Engineer in the Atlanta area. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing control systems and end of arm tooling for an advanced manufacturing operation. 


  • Support automated systems within the plant including troubleshooting, programming, and commissioning new PLCs, vision systems, robots (up to 6 axis), and end of arm tooling
  • Participation in the procurement, commissioning/run-off, start-up support and inspection of automated systems to include PLCs, vision systems, and robotics
  • Participation in the preparation of process FMEAs
  • Participation in the continuous improvement activities
  • Assisting in supplier evaluations
  • Drafting and preparation of evaluations, reports and presentations training of employees
  • Diverse SAP authorizations, setting of sampling orders and requisitions
  • Creating specifications and requests of plant systems
  • Examination and approval of plants systems
  • Adjusting process parameters of plant systems 


  • Extensive experience troubleshooting, programming, and commissioning new PLCs, vision systems, robots (up to 6 axis), and end of arm tooling
  • Automation and optimization of end of arm tooling for robotics
  • 5+ years experience as a Controls Engineer within an advanced manufacturing setting
  • Track record of CI work as it relates to control systems and end of arm tooling with measurable deliverables in the form of reduced throughput time and minimizing scrap, errors, and down time
  • Technical degree preferred or proven on the job work experience.
