Description

DAVIS Companies has partnered with a leading Manufacturing company in the West metro to identify a Maintenance Manager to join their team! 

Essential Functions:

  • Drive to a best in class maintenance program that includes proactively addressing equipment and safety issues.
  • Develop and maintain a preventive and predictive maintenance program targeted on maximizing operations OEE.
  • Promote and champion LEAN initiatives targeting operations as well as departmental business process improvement.
  • Collaborate up, down and across the organization to meet Operational Excellence objectives.
  • Provide focused leadership for the maintenance staff.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and parts through data driven economic analysis methods.
  • Create and manage an equipment obsolesce plan based upon available data 
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for machine projects to deliver true engineered solutions.
  • Lead technical staff on new and improvement project initiatives and ongoing personal development.
  • Utilize CMMS, ERP and ad-hoc systems to develop statistical and financial data driven processes to manage the business.
  • Promote and mentor maintenance staff on the use of industry leading troubleshooting, problem solving methods to drive root-cause analysis and solutions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline and 5+ years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership growth OR AA degree in maintenance or automation technology with 15+ years’ experience and 5+ in a supervisory role preferred. 
  • Lean and 6 sigma principles.
  • Experience in developing preventative and predictive maintenance program.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of manufacturing machine tools and mechanical operations.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, PLC/computer operated automation, thermal management at a machine and facility level, automated systems development and maintenance practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and fabrication.
  • Strong computer knowledge and skills with ERP and CMMS experience.
  • Knowledgeable of environmental issues and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Reliability Engineering experience desirable.
