The DAVIS Companies has partnered with a leader in the Control Panel Industry to help them identify a Manufacturing Project Manager for their expanding team. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, including purpose, goals, objectives and deliverables for multiple projects
  • Develop project plan including timetable and associated communication documents; accountable for business results.
  • Lead project/client/business meetings and conference calls, including project kick-off meetings, weekly check in’s and post-mortems; all while ensuring meetings are recorded and minutes distributed.
  • Manage the delivery of agreed upon action items, and holds task owners accountable for deadlines.
  • Enter tasks into JIRA, and track task completion.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
  • Assist company and Project Management team to aid in Sales process.
  • Ensure that processes are delivering their intended outputs.
  • Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.
  • Ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.


  • B.A. / B.S. degree in relevant field and 1-3 years’ experience, or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodology and tools, team management, issue identification and resolution; financial management and budgets, operations management, and industry standards.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of project management process including initiation, planning, control, execution, and communication; high level and  detailed technical design, integration and design review, resource and time estimates, development, production, testing and QA.
  • Strong team building, management and leadership skills; with an emphasis on achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn and understand company systems and applications, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work effectively in varied work environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel and Outlook), knowledge of Project related software preferred (e.g. MS Project, Primavera); practical and conceptual knowledge of ERP systems.
