Description

Mechatronics Engineer

We are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to join a growing client of ours in Covington, GA. The candidate will help design and transition products to manufacturing, as well as manage and coordinate product development projects. Duties include assessing technical feasibility, design optimization, resolving production issues, and ensuring that labeling and match product technical specifications.  The candidate will work with other departments to establish a design, technology, and vendor strategy while managing technical details and reporting progress to management.

Key Responsibilities of the Mechatronics Engineer

  • Project management 
  • Product Design – 3D modeling, 2D drawings, electrical board layout and schematic creation 
  • Prototyping electro-mechanical systems 
  • Transition from design to manufacturing 

Requirements of the Mechatronics Engineer 

  • 3-5 years hands on experience 
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology 
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks 
  • Proficiency with Altium/Solidworks PCB 
  • Electromechanical system design
